Knowledge and team structuring


Knowledge is increasingly recognized as an important dimension to the quality of a team. In this training, a scan is conducted of the knowledge that is available in a team, both in terms of content and in terms of skills/abilities, while attention is also paid to the ability of the team members and of the team as such to acquire knowledge. Then the need for knowledge is analyzed, on the basis of current and scheduled projects. This results in two issues: 1) there may well be a gap between present knowledge and needed knowledge (something to take into account in bringing in new team members), 2) awareness of present knowledge and knowledge needs make it possible to use knowledge as one of the criteria for planning.
