Knowledge is about people, not computers

Not so long ago, knowledge was seen within the organizational context as content, while at the same time IT systems were becoming better and better at organizing, storing and sharing that content. This has become valuable and will probably remain to be so.
Still, it has lead us away, sometimes, from what knowledge really is: the ability of human beings to cope with the challenges they face. Of course, humans are very good at designing and providing for tools to assist in all this, but they remain tools. The core is rather creative human and inter-human process.
